Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best famous for her character Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 to present. The Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her as Jasira Maoun and was an Lebanese American teenage girl who has to deal with a number of personal issues in relation to the U.S. invaders of Iraq. She was picked by Variety as one of 10 actors to watch. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime-thriller film where she portrayed another strong female role titled Taslima Jangir was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead.
